My pair of Turnberry SEs were originally purchased new by Paul Coupe of RFC and referred to in his comparison write up on here with 12 inch DCs for which he ultimately constructed his own design cabinet which was truly gorgeous. If you read the HiFiPig review of the 2A3 by Jerry it is clear that this amp does have a synergy with Tannoys. It's a very affordable amp so I was very impressed to hear this level of performance. The whole sound was very rich, open, and natural. With the 4 Ohm tap the bass was tight and deep. He had a really big room and the 18W had no problem filling it. I heard the RFCs because I was selling a Puresound 2A3 to the owner it was a really good match.
These very novel speakers have a horn loaded HF unit concentrically mounted within a large bass driver.
